Logo redesign for Saratoga Farmers’ Market in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Each year Skidmore’s Communication Design II class has students redesign a logo for a local business in Saratoga Springs, NY. I was in the class in 2019 when the client was the Saratoga Farmers’ Market. The market made clear that they wanted the new logo to focus on fresh produce so designed a logo that featured fresh produce in a crate, with the crate being the type. The Saratoga Farmers’ Market selected my logo from the class and I worked with market administrator to make a few revisions to the logo before delivering the final files. The revisions entailed including the roof from the historic high rock pavilion that has been home to the Farmers’ Market in the warmer months since the 1990s.
